No serious side effects have been reported. The FDA has recognized CES as a Class III device for treatment of depression, anxiety, and sleep disorders. Although a prescription is required, CES can be used safely and conveniently in the home, without professional supervision. It can be used along with most other treatments.<\/p>\n<p>Studies and clinical experience also suggest benefits for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)<\/li>\n<li>Obsessive-compulsive disorder<\/li>\n<li>Trastorno por estr\u00e9s postraum\u00e1tico (TEPT)<\/li>\n<li>Cognitive dysfunction<\/li>\n<li>Traumatic brain injury<\/li>\n<li>Pain<\/li>\n<li>Enhancing attention and concentration<\/li>\n<li>Decreasing assaultive behavior<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Efectos secundarios<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Side effects are uncommon and typically not severe.
