Glimmer is a nation-wide safe space where LGBTQIA+, womxn-identifying, and QTBIPOC individuals can be connected to personalized and unique mental health services, cultivate sexual and creative expression, and indulge in a collection of LGBTQIA+ & womxn-made products tailored to them. Our goal is to increase access to personalized mental and sexual health services.
We hope to take away the “hard parts” of accessing comprehensive and affirming sexual health, mental health, sex education, and physical health services. Glimmer members can also explore inclusive education, virtual events, shops, and art. Not only will this give Glimmer Members the ability to find the right wellness professional, but also engage with a community that helps them feel powerful, loved, and understood.
Glimmer Verified Wellness professionals go through a rigorous process to be matched via our site. We only want to refer professionals who are informed, affirming, collaborative, and have experience working with diverse populations. Not looking for a psychologist or licensed mental health professional? We are open to non-traditional healers, practitioners, coaches, and more. We recognize that traditional mental health treatments are not for everyone, so if there is a need, we are here for it!
Pricing Information
Glimmer is a free service for our members, we charge no fee to access our wellness professional matching services or to create a Glimmer membership.
Privacy Information
Glimmer may collect information that identifies the User, such as name, email address, location. Glimmer may store personal information about the User that they have submitted to the website. This includes name, email address, location, phone number, and in the case of purchases at Glimmer’s Marketplace, your shipping and purchasing information.
When a User registers to be connected with a wellness professional through our match-making system, we collect information that will be used to create a profile, such as name, pronouns, email and phone number. We will also ask you questions regarding your personality and needs in a wellness professional. This helps us connect you with a wellness professional best fit for you. We do not collect or retain any information related to your therapy. As described in our Terms of Use, Glimmer does not provide the mental health services or any therapy services directly. The Solution is a communications platform for enabling connections between Users, Glimmer, and/or third-party individual providers. Please speak to your wellness professional directly regarding the privacy of the information you share with them.
In addition, like most sites, Glimmer maintains logs of site usage for purposes such as to evaluate our Users’ interest level in areas of the website, which and how many pages they look at, how long they stay on the website, and what Web browsers are used. This data is tracked in aggregate form via Squarespace, not at an individual user level, and is not uniquely identifying.
