MAT, the Medicine Assistance Tool

About This Service

The Medicine Assistance Tool (MAT) is a free resource for individuals who are in need of help to cover the cost of their medications.

Several patient assistance programs provide free or nearly free access to medications. MAT is a search engine that contains information on approximately 900 public and private assistance programs that help those with financial need get access to their prescription.

MAT is free, confidential and easy to use.

MAT gives patients, loved ones, and health care providers a single point of access to hundreds of public and private assistance programs, as well as connecting them with more transparent information about the cost of medicine.

MAT is not its own patient assistance program, but rather a search engine for many of the patient assistance resources that the biopharmaceutical industry offers.
